Spectra479 contacted me to develop a packaging design for their blue light blocking lens clips, aiming to protect people from blue light emitted by all sorts of modern devices and other lighting. While this issue has gained some traction in media it's still a mostly unfamiliar phenomenon, as such the main challenge for this design was to inform potential buyers.
The primary display panel shows a close shot of the product's orange lenses, the key to its functionality. A secondary panel explains the problems blue light causes, how this product will mitigate them, and tips on how to best use it. A graph indicating how much blue light the average competitor lens block, in comparison to this product, demonstrate its main competitive advantage.
