Challenge & Solution
The client got in touch with me bearing a clear idea of where he wanted to be with the packaging for his new product, a foot and muscle recovery kit, aiming to help those who exercise regularly. He wanted a look and feel influenced by high end sports brands.
With this objective in mind, a minimalistic dark and white design, with a bright accent colour, was developed. A photo of a woman stretching was the ideal background given the nature of the product, with the remaining areas covered with a perforated metal pattern.
In terms of copy, the design had to accommodate a long list of benefits and other information. The most important benefits took the prime space at the top along related iconography, while lesser points went into in a readable list at the back.
