For this packaging project a full bleed, wrapping around, photography of barbecue flames was used as the centrepiece of the design. In the primary display panel the logo was integrated into the flames and the copy made use of negative space.
The objective was to create a visual that could be easily expanded to other products with minimal modifications, so it was important not to use any photos of the product itself. This decision also helped with a challenge the client had: at the time of design there was no photos of the finished product, by using this solution we were able to overcome the situation.
Here we see the first two products making use of this design, a larger thermometer with a wireless sensor and a compact variation without the wireless component, with other products coming soon.
