Challenge & Solution
I was approached by Mountain Grillers, a brand specializing in barbecue accessories, with the mission to create packaging design with visuals that could be easily applied to many products with minimal modifications. An additional challenge faced by the client was that at the time of design, there were no photos of the finished product.
For working around the lack of product photography, a full bleed image of barbecue flames became the centrepiece of the design, alluding to the brand's core market. Large and tightly-knit typography, with colour derived from the flames, informs consumers about the different products.
